ASCO Direct Mount Pilot Valve, 120V
120V pilot-operated valve made by ASCO used for electrically actuating large industrial process valves.
Pilot valve that uses line pressure for actuating a main process valve, directly attached to the valve body. Operates on 120V, 50/60Hz power supply. Contains a small orifice which allows a small amount of the line fluid to pass through when energized, pressurizing the chamber above the main valve diaphragm, opening the main valve. De-energizing vents the pilot valve, causing the main valve to close. Allows control of large flow rates with reduced solenoid power. Suitable for controlling gases, water, chemicals, steam, etc. Corrosion resistant. 1/4in pipe size and 1/4in orifice. Used to control fluid flows remotely by electrical signals in industrial processes.
